What I hope to learn in EVC New Media Arts is the complexities of cinematography and of website designing . I have had a lot of opportunities that involves cameras and editing and had to turn it down because I barely have knowledge on it. There are more things I can get into if I build my knowledge. Video editing will also help me out a lot as a musician. Once you get to know a software everything else becomes a little bit easier

I learned many technical things about using the camera. I learned about aperture, shutter speed and iso. Ive learned that aperture is a setting on the camera that works of the depth of field, basically the background of what the camera is focused on. The higher the aperture the more wide depth of field which you can see the background in its entirety. The less aperture the depth of field is more narrow which blurs out the background.

We have all been separated into groups to build our workshop website. I had been assigned to the research group. This required me to collaborate with my other teammates and research on facts about higher education like the types of colleges there are and the economic statistics of college.

What we have improved in since our first street interviews is better approaching. Before we were less approachable and weren't confident on the topic we were using to do interviews, or atleast didn't know how to word it. What we needed what a sense of confidence and not have a fear of rejection.
